Why a store is quoted rather than priced

A shop selling six items is a different job to one selling six hundred with sizes and colours. Payment gateways, courier integrations and stock rules all change what the build actually involves, so quoting a number before seeing your catalogue would be guessing.

You get a firm figure in writing after a proper conversation, and it does not move once work starts.

Payments that work here

South African buyers pay differently to overseas ones. Cards, instant EFT and sometimes pay on delivery all matter, and the gateways that handle them well locally are not always the ones a foreign platform pushes you toward.

The store is set up around how your customers actually pay, and the money goes to your account rather than sitting with a platform until they release it.

Questions

Do I have to pay commission on sales?

No. You pay your payment gateway their transaction fee, the same as any card machine, and nothing to us per sale.
