Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

The short version

We collect the details you type into the enquiry form so that we can reply to your enquiry. That is the only reason. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no tracking on this website.

What we collect

Only what the form asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your business name, if you give one
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number
  • What kind of website you need
  • Anything else you choose to write in the message box

There are no other fields, and nothing is collected in the background. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you send us that way.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, we process your details because you asked us to contact you, and because we need them to prepare a quote and do the work. You are giving that information deliberately, for a purpose you chose.

What we do with it

We reply to you. If the job goes ahead, we keep your contact details for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that invoices and records make sense. If the job does not go ahead, we delete the enquiry once it is clearly finished.

We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing you did not ask for, or pass your details to anyone else for their own use.

Who else can see it

Enquiries sent through the form are delivered to our email inbox by a form service, which passes the message on and does not use it for anything else. Our website is hosted by a hosting provider, which necessarily processes the request your browser makes. Neither is given permission to use your information for their own purposes.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking or advertising service on this site.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that single choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop using it

Ask by email or WhatsApp and we will do it. There is no charge and no form to fill in. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiries reach us the same way. No system is perfect, but we do not keep your details anywhere they are not needed.
